NAL Resources is an expanding, mid-sized oil and gas company in its tenth year of operation, primarily in western Canada. Currently, NAL produces over 16,000 boepd, approximately two thirds light oil, and one third gas. Most of its production comes from operated properties in Alberta and Saskatchewan, some of which are Sylvan Lake, Sturgeon Lake, Joffre D-2 and D-3 Units in Alberta, and Alida, Nottingham and Rosebank areas in Saskatchewan. NAL is also the operator of two gas plants, and is in the process of building a third, scheduled for operation in May of 1999.

NAL operates and manages assets on behalf of major financial institutions, as well as for the NAL Oil and Gas Trust www.nal.ca
, which is publicly traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange. NAL currently employees approximately 100 staff, 60 percent residing in its Calgary head office, and the balance at field locations.
